You Choose Me and My Way?

Know you not
that the days ahead will be hard for those who do not know Me, for those who
do not seek me earnestly? For there will be much that
they will not understand, nor will they be able to do.
They will lack the strength, understanding, and courage that only I can give.
Many will perish over their frustration and unwillingness
to change to a life in Me. For, they are steeped in
rebellion and unforgiveness. They have been bound by the
generations of the past and are unwilling to give up those that are within,
so they are unable to hold more of Me. For even as a
country divided will not stand, so it is with humans. For
when you are divided by good and evil, it is as if you are on the fence or
lukewarm. And it is those who are lukewarm that I will
spit out, for I will not put up with the unevenness of the road that you have
chosen, nor of your turning your back to Me for another.
Many do not
know nor realize that they have turned their back on Me, their
first love.
Many think that they are “safe” for they are not against Me,
they are passive and complacent in all things, and they are like those who
are sitting on the fence. For they do not move
towards a relationship with Me, but rather sit and wait as the world goes by
them, unmovable by their standards, for their own stubbornness, rebellion,
and fear of commitment
to Me. They “choose” not to move forward, because they
are satisfied where they are at and don’t want to “rock the boat”, not
realizing that without their boats being rocked that they have become
stagnant in the water, and that I will spit them out.
Woe to those who refuse
to move forward in Me, who choose to stay where they are on the fence, who
choose to be used by the enemy out of their own ignorance of My Word and My
Way.
Read My Word. Spend time with Me. Get
to know Me as you never have before. For it is only
when you do these things that I can begin to work in you and through you.
It is only as you spend time with Me that I can show you who I am, in
a way that you have not comprehended before. It is those
who seek Me and spend time with Me that become more like Me.
It is those who as they develop their relationship with Me, that they
then begin to become all that I mean for them to be. For
as they search Me out, they will grow in Me and in the giftings that I have
planted in each of them. Do you not know that even as I
have planted gifts in each of you, so do I give you even more as you seek Me
out and follow Me in obedience to My will for your life?
“Oh,”
you say, “But do I want that? Do I want your
will in my life, God? Do I want to make the sacrifices
that you, Lord, will ask of me? Do I want to do what you
are asking me to do? Why should I want what you want for
me? If I choose your way, then I can’t do the things that
I want to do. If I choose to be obedient to you, then I
can’t have fun, and go my own way. Do I want your way of
life, Lord? Do I want to be captured by you, and love you
with an unfailing love,
that I am willing to give my all for you? God, do you
know what you are asking of me? I don’t know that I want
to do that. I feel safe in my place, where I am now. I
don’t want to move out of my comfort zone. I don’t want
to follow you, because I don’t know where the path leads, I don’t know…..that
means I don’t get to do what I want to do. That means
that I don’t get to go where I want to go. That means I
become your servant, willing to do whatever you ask of me.
I don’t know that I am willing to do that. I’m not
sure that I can do that….You, Lord, are asking too much of me, I don’t know
that I want to do that, you are taking away my freedom, my everything
why you are asking me to give up, life as I know it now, God do you
really know what you are asking me to do?”
“I
say, that you are allowing those things within you to control and govern
your life. You have already lost your life to them,
because you haven’t given it to Me fully. You are already
willing to let something else control and govern you. You
are willing to allow those things to control you, but unwilling to let Me
control you? Again, I say, who do you want to control
your life, the enemy or Me? For, one of us will be in
control of you, and it is your choice. It is up to you.
Yes, I have given you the freedom to choose who will your master be,
Me or the enemy of your soul? Yes, I know what I am
asking of you, for did I not give you My Son, to forgive you of all of your
sins? Did I not let My Son, go through much, so that you
would be given much? If you are on the fence and not sure
of this, then you are still under the grip of the enemy, you have not given
yourself fully to Me. Again, I say, if you are not for
Me, then you are against Me. If you are not for My will
and My way, then you are against Me. You are openly
choosing to disregard and to rebel against My will in your life.
You would be so rebellious, to think that you know more than Me?
You would choose to defy Me and to obey the enemy?
Again, I say, I knew you before you were born. I knew and
still know everything that you have and will go through, and I am the one who
has given you the freedom to choose, where you will give your life now and
where it will be spent and where you will go in the end.
For again, if you are not for Me and My will in your life, then you
are against Me and you willingly choose the way that the enemy has prepared
for you, whether you realize it or not, again, I say through your own
ignorance of My Word and My Way, through your own unwillingness to forgive
and to repent, and to follow Me, with your whole heart.
There are times when I must be hard with you, for there are those, who are
choosing to follow the enemy through his ways, not Mine.
For you choose to hang onto the things of the past, and the ways of the past,
and the things within you. Let go of the past, and all
that which is trying to harm you and move forward in Me.
I will not let go of you, unless you choose to let go of Me.
I
already have your life planned out. I know your past,
your today, and your tomorrow. There is no one who knows
more about you, or anything else, than Me. I am the one
who created you and brought you forth. I am the one who
has known you since before you were born. Do you not know
that I have a plan and a purpose for your life? But, you
must choose My way and Me, for without Me, you have chosen the path that the
enemy has laid out for you. You don’t think that he has
plans for you also? You don’t know him, as I do and you
are not as wise as you think you are. For the enemy has
blinded you, deafened your ears, and filled you with pride and fear.
He seeks to destroy you and all that I have created that is within
you, to use for his purposes. So I say again, whose way
will you choose, Mine or the enemy? Who will control you,
Me or the enemy? For, you are not in control of your
life, regardless of what you think. You must make a
choice. Who will you choose to serve?
